Admission FAQs

  • When do registrations open?

    • We usually open registrations in November. Keep checking our website and Facebook page for announcements.

  • What is the criteria of admission?

    • Candidates are shortlisted purely based on merit. To a certain extent, selection also depends on their application form and the number of seats available in the class they are applying for

  • What are the chances of my child getting an admission into EBS?

    • Admission in EBS is extremely competitive due to high volume of applications. The applicants per seat ratio is extremely high, therefore we advise you to apply as soon as the registrations open.

  • Are Siblings guaranteed admissions?

    • There is no way to guarantee admissions in EBS except merit. No special consideration is given to siblings.

  • Do we have any discount in admission fee for siblings?

    • Yes we offer Rs. 10,000 discount in admission fee for second/third/fourth child and onwards

  • Do you take admissions in all the classes?

    • We only accept admissions from Discoverers (Montessori) to Class 8. We don’t accept admissions in Class 9, 10 and 11. In case of overseas students, we may make some exceptions for Class 9. Please send an email to us or call on the school number to discuss your case with the admissions manager

  • Can we visit the school to submit our application?

    • It is highly encouraged to submit application online. However, if there is an issue, you can call on the school number and take appointment with the Admissions Manager. Please note that the admissions department will not entertain you without an appointment.

  • Can I reschedule test/interview?

    • Rescheduling is only possible in case of an emergency. You are required to inform the admissions department prior the test. However, we cannot guarantee another interview / test date due to the high volume of applications.

  • Is this an Islamic school?

    • We believe in developing a generation of balanced, grounded and conscientious young men and women with a strong faith. The school gives special emphasis to moral and spiritual guidance. We work towards making our students successful in this world and hereafter. Our school policies also strongly reflect our belief system.

  • Does the school give special emphasis on extracurricular along with education:

    • Yes, we believe education comes hand in hand with physical and mental wellbeing. Our campus is designed keeping in mind the absolute need for physical excursion as well as the school makes sure that children take part in different competitions and events. We also have one of the best coaches for football, basketball and taekwondo

  • How is Education Bay different than other schools?

    • Apart from quality education and excellent olevels results, education bay gives special emphasis to spiritual and moral values. We believe school should be the place where a child learns to create a balance between 'deen and dunya' rather than hiring a separate person or sending them to a different school for that purpose. We start Quran from explorers and children complete it by grade 7, We teach arabic as a language, Segregated classes from secondary onwards, translation of selected surahs and do not encourage unislamic practices and events.
